My music is influenced by everyday events situations and moods. As a result the music styles cover a wide range including rock dance house techno trance blues and general chill/easy listening - ideal as background to conversation or ideal just to enjoy. It has also been influenced by the equipment and technology available to me and my income at a given time and obviously my own limitiations musically. Any comments on the music would be much appreciated so please let me know what you think of the tracks featured here - to say which bands/musicians have influenced me the most in my lifetime I would have to include the following: Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Guns 'n' Roses, Joe Satriani, Deep Purple, Jimi Hendrix, Goldfrapp, Danny Rampling. LOM is a project started around 5 years ago. The purpose of embarking upon this project was to get some of the music rattling about in my head onto disc and to inflict it upon the unsuspecting world of music loving listeners.
LOM is not a commercial enterprise - just a way of sharing the music I create with others - I have no aspirations of becoming anything like famous - that has already been achieved over the period of time I have been involved in music and playing in bands - the pressure is off now - still it would be nice to cover costs of production etc but really I just want people to chill out and enjoy my style(s) of music - so lay back and let the music do the talking - stay cool stay loose
