The London Academy of Trance UK is the name that fronts producer James Fussey and one of the most promising new sounds on the trance scene in London today. James is a professional musician and studied at the Royal Academy of Music in London before freelancing with orchestras such as the Royal Opera House Orchestra and the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment. James' recordings have attracted interest from many of the top DJ's and record labels not only in the UK but also in the US. London Academy of Trance's new track 'Tears from Saturn' is currently being track tested in American clubs with two Calafornian DJ's.
The group has been featured regularly on the Rotation Podcast with DJ Addison which is widely regarded as one of the top dance/progressive podcasts on iTunes. London Academy of Trance have featured on Rotation with artists such as Armin Van Buuren, Makus Schultz & Randy Boyer. More recently James was featured on the BBC Radio 6 top new producer of the year program hosted by legendary DJ Dave Pearce where he was interviewed LIVE about his influences and current projects.
James Fussey and The London Academy of Trance recently took part in the Maroon 5 remix competition where they reached the finals of the competition and also took part in the Franz Ferdinand Remix Competition earlier this year.
LAT are currently working on several professional remixes and also hoping to release their first album in summer 2009.
