A little bit about myself:

Ah... I have never been very good at writing about myself. I seem to get stuck in the philosophical aspects of things rather than just writing about who I am.

Well first and most importantly I am an artist. I attend the Academy of Art University in San Francisco in the illustration department. Drawing is my first love and writing my second so I aspire to do something in my life that would incorporate both. I originally hail from New York City and I spent a good eighteen years there. I have also lived a few years abroad (in Bangladesh) and worked in my father's multimedia company as an illustrator/ conceptual artist. I like working with themes like violence against women and such sometimes but my secret passion are more BL works. In my free time I like doing fanart (mostly Saiyuki though) and have a lot of fun doing it. My favorite illustrator is Kazuya Minekura and I adore all of her art and writing. I like to travel and spend a lot of time wandering around places. I also have a tendency to being a bit absent minded most times and clumsy as well. I was learning Japanese but had to stop at an intermediate level. I would love to take it up again.

Music wise I listen to any random thing. I really like J-rock bands like Larc en ciel, Gackt, Dir en Grey, Shiina Ringo, Hyde, and Doa (to name a few) C-pop band Cherry Boom and my favorite american band is the Dresden Dolls. I like music with a creepy undertone to it usually but other than that anything is fine (as long as its not rap, country....or hindi music) I watch alot of anime and movies....I like bad horror flicks cause they make me laugh and fantasy movies. Independant films are fun as well.

I read a lot usually, although I try and restrain myself over the semester since I have a tendency to get caught up in the story (this actually made me miss a plane once o.o;;) I read mostly fantasy and science fiction, But things on philosophy or psychology is fun as well. And Manga is a staple for me of course ♥

I'm in most aspects an amiable person and sort of hard to anger or annoy, I like to laugh and I act hyper and silly most of the time.
