The Lonely Drunks Club Band features musicians from some of the best F'N bands in Los Angeles and Hollywood. The goal of the Lonely Drunks Club is to unite the Hollywood Music scene and the bands in it. The days that we all hear about or have experienced on the Sunset Strip, are done. It is now a new era of music and musicians in Hollywood. Up till now, it has been one band against the other in a battle to keep their friends, parents and co-workers in the club for their precious 35 minute set. Bring the next band in and repeat...etc. Just don't stand too close to the curb when your outside the club!
The scene that was created in the early 80's was pretty cool. The Motley Crues' of the time played the Whiskey and then partied down the block till dawn. The bands still didn't create a community, but at least people were going to see good music and labels were interested.
Now its hard to get anyone out to see your band; and there is competition more than ever due to the rough times in the music business; unless your an American Idol or Miley Cyrus. Labels and investors just don't seem to be interested or feel that the "products" i.e. our passions, out there are going to do well. Well FUCK THAT!
The Lonely Drunks Club Band represents a revolution to the Hollywood Music Scene. It will, and already has brought numerous bands together for a night of musical goodness. By bringing the bands together, the fans come together as well. The new era of a music community has begun. Together we can make the Hollywood Scene a commodity in itself. Make people want to be part of it and generate interest all over the country and world!
We're going global baby. Well, thats the goal! So next time you hear that The LDCB is playing, come out and help the movement. Lets make the people from all over want to have what happens in the legendary clubs on the strip, come to THEIR town.
