Started back in the hot summer of 2002 The lonesome Dragstripper himself was fed up playing solo shows and formed a Rock/Punk/Psycho...whatever kicked your butt Trio. Original Drummer was Mr. Goldschmitt, leaving the band a year or two after the first Mini CD "Pro Modified" was released. The Slap Bass Player Karl Lee Kay (The Flames, Frantic Flintstones, Up To Vegas, Shark Soup, and currently Out of Luck Rock n Roll) left the band after the highly successful apperance of the dragstrippers at the 19 th Satanic Stomp, pleasing 1300 maniacs at the same day as Rezurex, Slim Jim Phantom, Mad Sin and The Reverend Horton Heat.
At that state of the Dragstrippers live we played great shows with bands like Peter Pan Speedrock, The Meteors, Nashville Pussy, The Bones and so on. We rockt and sweated in Clubs like the 20 Flight Rock/Hamburg and The Wild at Heart/Berlin...
The recordings to our new CD called "Top Fuel Thunder" are finnished finally. Eternal thanks to Mr. Frank Lemmert who catched our sound on this great recordings. 4 of the Songs can be heared here at the myspace player... you wonder, there is no slap bass at all, Mr. T on bass is also a true maniac on his way to hell playing the 4 strings like in the good old times.... Hell Yeah!!!
