    Dennis and his brother Allen have been Refrigerator since 1991. Dennis began the Shrimper label around that time as well to document the activity in the fertile Inland Empire region outside of Los Angeles, and Refrigerator have been just one of the outstanding bands that have developed (Nothing Painted Blue and the Mountain Goats being only two of many more). Their independent attitude remains resoundingly 'punk' even though their music is more of an intensely personal take on 'folk rock'.....
