All riders participating in a ride with the Long Beach Classic Scooter Club are expected to:
*Ride a metal, manual shifting scooter.
* Participate at their own risk.
* Wear suitable clothing and approved head protection.
* Ride a registered, insured and roadworthy machine.
*Any organizers and/or the Long Beach Classic Scooter Club are not responsible for participant’s safety.
* All participants/riders are aware that they are traveling on open public roads and are responsible for their own safety and compliance with all road rules and laws.
*Conduct that causes damage to the property or persons
of third-parties is absolutely prohibited.
* The LBCSC retains the sole right to ban/expel a rider who disregards the rules as described.
Long Beach Classic Scooter Club's Friend Space (Top 30)
Hi -we wanted to let you know of a few important things happening in our little world. Firstly, we release our debut single (a ltd edition 7 inch vinyl record & also available as downloads) "The Contessa" / "Snake Charmer" in a few weeks on dctone records. Copies of this single will be available on SEPT 26 which is also the date of a big London show we are playing @ Crossfire (held inside 229 The Venue in Gt Portland St opposite Regent's Park) to celebrate the forthcoming launch of our debut album "SIX AGAINST EIGHT."
The show features an enlarged band with special guests and shouldn't be missed - an all-nighter follows our gig with DJs from across Europe.... The album is produced by Donald Ross Skinner (Julian Cope etc) & features 14 original tunes - it will be available as a CD (see www.dcfontana.com) and as downloads. Our next Birmingham gig is this Saturday SEPT 12 @ The Sound Bar +support:
On Sunday SEPT 13 we also play @ Bullit in Tamworth and on WEDS SEPT 30 we are @ The Underbelly in London playing with the legendary Damo Suzuki (Can). Please stay in touch and look out for the records and the gigs!
