Longfingah is one of Berlins premiere reggae artists. Over the past years he has brought his music into the heads of the reggae-fans across Europe and beyond.
Longfingahs musical journey started in 1996 as a MC of the Hip Hop Crew Only Lyrikz. From 1998 to 2007 he was also the singer of the ska-punk band Ska-T. During this time Ska-T played over 300 shows all over Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, Austria and Switzerland and recorded two EPs and two albums. Since 2003 Longfingah also joined the reggae- jazz-band Wood In Di Fire at their monthly shows at Berlins Schokoladen club. Since that days Longfingah got involved more and more into the reggae and dancehall scene. So he also started to do more Soundsystem Shows. In 2006 he recorded his first solo-album "Rebel Style" featuring the Rude Riddim Band.
In 2009 his second album "Lo-Fi Youthz / Fly Over The Yard", a collaboration with Firetower Productions was released by Moanin. In the meantime Longfingah was working with a couple of Bands and Soundsystems such as Illbilly Hitec and Mungos Hifi. Right now he is touring with his band Dub Engineers to promote his new album "Cityopian Spirit"


The long-awaited album “Cityopian Spirit” of Berlin's most talented Reggae MC Longfingah is due to be released in the middle of May 2011. During past tours around Europe, Longfingah recorded the new album's tracks together with various local Reggae artists and producers. Music and specifically Reggae music has always had the power of bringing together people from different walks of life, regardless of nationality or skin-colour. Staying true to this motto, Longfingah made it his task to record the tracks on this album in different studios with different people, thus catching the unique vibe of all these different settings. In his home town Berlin, he works in particularly close co-operation with the talented musician and producer “Foresta” who has recently released the top-rated “Youth Riddim”. In addition to the flavour of local artists, the album also features a range of highly acclaimed international artists, such as Dubmatix (Canada), Danny Ranks (Austria), Dub All Sense (Italy), Dreadsquad (Poland) and many more. In essence this album takes you on a musical trip around the World of Reggae.
