LHP Records
In 2008 LHP expanded into LHP Records again with Deja Vue in mind to record and distribute their music. Since then LHP Records has developed into working with other artists who are interested in signing with us... we are interested in any genre as long as the artist is tallented and is marketable.
These are some of the services we work with
iTunes (USA, Europe / UK, Australia / NZ, Canada & Japan), Amazon mp3,
myspace, blogger, facebook, bebo, last fm, lala, reverbnatio, napster, iLike,
showcase your music, rhapsody, eMusic, Shockhound , Jamwave, IMVU, 7digital indiestoore, Yahoo! Music and Amie Street
We can also offer physical distribution via Amazon to most
countries..
Currently we take electronic submission through Music Submit
and Sonicbids
LHP Records is a spotter for Dont Stay In and (by
arrangement) we can advertise our artists' events, come and spot and put up the
picture on the site.
In 2009 LHP Publishing started up to publish and
licence the music of LHP Records artists' to media such as TV and film, giving
the possibility for greater royalties and publicity.
We also aim to promote your profile on MySpace by increasing profile views
and song plays, and can work with you to set up profiles on other networks like
Facebook and Bebo. Our team can also get website hosting and domain names
registered for you. Of course on a more traditional line we also send out promo
CDs to radio stations and other media outlets with artist bios and pictures.
What makes LHP Records different ?
We work both with internet and media outlets
we are interested in ALL genres
we will go as far as we can to make you a success, if you dont make
it...we dont earn money and the other reason I opened up the company was to
see up and coming artists have a good start in the business and hopefully
continue to use us!!
Artists receive a high rate of all royalties generated through us.
Half of the royalties we retain goes to further promoting artists.
We sign artists per album / EP. We have no tie-ins expecting you to
produce so many albums in a given time.
There is no admin or setup fees and there are no recurring fees to the
artist.
"We want LHP Records to be open to as many artists as possible, rewarding
their efforts with as big a percentage of royalties as possible and taking the
hassle out of getting your music to the public...allowing the artist to spend
time on what they do best...producing the music" - The "K",Managing Director

Static Rain is a 2 piece band from the beautiful Yorkshire town of Keighley. Band members Tony Garthwaite and Jacob Barlow formed the band in 2008, driven by a joint passion for both electronic music and retro synths. The music they produce can be described as electronic pop with catchy choruses and memorable riffs that are prominent in all of their songs, making them popular with a very wide audience. Following their initial success on MySpace, Static Rain continues to build a solid fan base and a strong reputation as a live act. The band is currently looking for gigs from August 2009 onwards throughout the whole of the UK.
