My mom is so damn great. I want her to meet everybody I know. I miss her a bit each day I am away from her smile and humor. Her spirit is stronger than yours...strong enough to bend steel.
“The fact of the matter is, I'm fucking brilliant. Not 'was' brilliant. 'Am' brilliant.” (Pete Townshend)
“Faith is believing in something you cannot yet see. The reward for that faith is one day seeing what you believe in”
Suddenly you were gone, from all the lives you left your mark upon. I remember. (Neil Peart)
D is for Daryll. I grew up in a stinky little town called Kaukauna. That's a piss south of Green Bay, WI. Moved to Minneapolis in 2000 to attend rock n roll school.
I am a freelance engineer. I listen to people try their hardest at making the best music they can. That equates to one of the greatest jobs in the world. I have been blessed to have the honor of working with some of Minneapolis' best bands and artists. When you do something that you love, work isn't work.
Music has been a part of my life since I was 3. Those that know me can attest to my undying love and devotion to music. I could not exist without music as part of my life.
Please take the time to check out the studios that I work at.
God. I have a shitload of questions to ask him. I hope he likes coffee cause we would be awhile.
I have always thought I would like to meet my music heroes. When I was a kid, that was my biggest goal. As I became dis-enchanted with the whole music business, I realized that if I did indeed meet my heroes, my perception of them wouldn't be as grand. I mean come on, would Neil Peart be held as high if I found out that he is a complete dick?! Fact is, he doesn't seem to be that personable.
I wanna meet more cool people. There have been many that have entered my life. Still, I have to rotate some stock and I do have room for more.
I struggle with finding a balance between friends and my career. While I love a good time with people I care for, I also love being engrossed in the thickness of a musical environment. Needless to say, I am still trying to find that right combination between my private and work life. Never fear, I am a fun guy to be with and I am sure to either make you laugh or make you question why God would make such an obscure individual.
i heard Rush on the radio last night and thought of you. They kick so much ass, I better go see them when they come around, I dont want to miss out, though im pretty sure Geddy is a vampire so he'll be around forever. Rush and Primus and Tool would be the best tour lineup ever.
