Rock band Longshot was formed in 1999 and has been playing its unique blend of melodic rock music all over the capital for the last few years. Three members of the group - Tom Hutchison, Alan Porter, and Matt Foreman - met and created the band while working for peanuts as glass collectors in Walthamstow Dog Track, East London. The line-up was completed a couple of years later with the addition of drummer Alan Enston and keyboard player Alex Butters.
The five-piece, all in their early 20s, have been making waves on the underground live music circuit since. Longshot has featured live in session on London's Xfm Radio station (104.9fm) and in the last year completed Autumn and Spring mini-tours of the South East. They have played numerous high-profile gigs at such prestigious venues as The Garage (Highbury Corner), West One Four (in Kensington), The Ocean (in Hackney), The Rock Garden (in Covent Garden), and Sound (in Leicester Square).

Hey. We’ve uploaded six new songs recorded live @ The Fly last month which are sounding just great. So treat your ears to their sweet sounds and keep posted for a live music video to be added real soon.
hi thanks for the add and yes i may try and setup a fundraiser to get some money for the park so i want some local bands to play if you would be cool with that?
Loving 'Why me' on your page. The other songs are great too - but that's my fave.Yr gig on Sep 8th in Soho is 2 days before my bday so looks like I'll be going there :) Any way of getting hold of any of the songs on My Space, as I can't download them....!?
hey guys we've got two new rough mixes from our new cd now on our site if you're interested, producer by dave clarke (who's worked with madonna, prodigy and manic street preachers to name a few!) hope all's good
Hey guys just dropping a line to say great gig last night!! (as always) It was good to see you do a longer set than usual, and newie 'stale bread' sounded superb. thanks so much for putting us on the bill too, we really appreciate it, had a fantastic time.
Unfortunately have just realised we're playing the standard the same night you're at nambucca... so i guess we won't be able to make that one... :-( but how easy is it to get to st albans from london? if it's not too epic we'll try and make it down
