Rock band Longshot was formed in 1999 and has been playing its unique blend of melodic rock music all over the capital for the last few years. Three members of the group - Tom Hutchison, Alan Porter, and Matt Foreman - met and created the band while working for peanuts as glass collectors in Walthamstow Dog Track, East London. The line-up was completed a couple of years later with the addition of drummer Alan Enston and keyboard player Alex Butters.

The five-piece, all in their early 20s, have been making waves on the underground live music circuit since. Longshot has featured live in session on London's Xfm Radio station (104.9fm) and in the last year completed Autumn and Spring mini-tours of the South East. They have played numerous high-profile gigs at such prestigious venues as The Garage (Highbury Corner), West One Four (in Kensington), The Ocean (in Hackney), The Rock Garden (in Covent Garden), and Sound (in Leicester Square).
