As frontman Brian Longway was making his rounds during the band’s music video premiere party, he stopped by to shake my
hand and said, “Sorry man, we don’t know much about the business of music, we are just a bunch of guys that like making
music.” Nothing could describe the band Longway better. Far from the swollen egos and half-hearted talent that plague the
typical Orange County punk band, Longway’s sound is a potent combination of Southern California punk that embraces a
real sense of blue collar rock ‘n’ roll.Veering away from the clichéd punk persona of the uber-angry anarchists, or the overtattooed
nerds faking their way through it, Longway instantly commands credibility both onstage and in the speakers. The guitar
driven sound is nothing that reinvents the wheel, yet in its simplicity becomes universally inclusive. In keeping things simple,
Longway concentrates on making solid, gimmick free rock. That kind of focus resonates in a brand of punk rock that pulls
together fans from every walk of life. Over the last year the band has secured supporting stints for the likes of Bad Religion,
The Briggs,Agent Orange and have even taken the stage on the Vans Warped Tour. The band’s full length debut, Come N Get
It remains a testament to time when punk rock music was more about the party then the protest; more about the fun than
the fashion.

I love the new cd. Im glad you guys told me about it. I have listened to it like 80 times since tuesday. :] Sucks that i didnt get to see you guys play the other day. Good luck on the rest of the tour.
Now that I've gotten a chance to listen to the album (about 10 times, seriously), I'll let you know what I think about it.
Songsl ike "Junkie" are the ones that are the most fun to speed down the highway and sing along, or be in the front row pumping your fist in the air and letting loose. The album itself is loaded with tracks like this one, all of which are great.
The song that really hit me is the one I've not heard enough of like it. "Highways and Backdoors" really caught me. Especially the line "I tell my wife goodbye and tell her a few white lies", etc. That shit was fucking gold, because I've been there before and I know how touring can be.
Keep this type of shit up and you'll see me at all of your shows in my area. This is a great album, and I intend on buying the other release you had for sale on one of the other dates I'll be attending. See ya soon.
If anyone has pics from the pittsburgh warped and caught be singing some Billy Idol witht the boys please drop me and line and send them if u can! Thanks!
