As a night we unearth young, musical talent within south London and offer sign posting and a platform to perform for those with ambition and passion. Audience members at our events include peers, fellow musicians and top industry representatives - there to offer feedback and advice - and all performances are filmed to HD standard and professionally edited for performers to use as they wish, all free of charge! As a video production company, Look At Me London specialises in tailor-made promotional material for artists who are passionate about their music, diligent when it comes to their craft and serious about getting their music noticed. There was serious talent in the room and we've had a lot of great feed back. As a night we unearth young, musical talent within south London and offer sign posting and a platform to perform for those with ambition and passion. Look At Me London aims to simultaneously increase the quality of life - of individuals and of a community - through music. Look At Me London also boasts a networking aspect to its nights, introducing young performers to established industry professionals in a relaxed manner and laid-back environment, encouraging cross-generational communication and opening up learning opportunities. LAML also uses its background in video production to provide all artists with promotional material post-event. ..

    ***********My review on; Look At Me London at City Showcase Rocklands. By Ife Akinroyeje.*************** ‘Look At Me London’, is a company specialising in the promotion of musicians and young people, who are interested in becoming recognised in the music industry or their particular field in the Arts. The venue for Look At Me London’s most recent event was at The Albany, Deptford on Thursday 6th May, 2010. The show was enjoyable and had extremely talented musicians showcasing their work. The event showed what young people of today were capable of and how passionate each performer was. The line-up on the night was great; artists included Doodle C Randoms; a female solo artist, Oliver Twist; an upbeat rap artist, talented rapper; Brand New, Jiqwah a young musician who brought a mixture of blues and poetry to the event and Dreamer, a singer and rapper who gave a good performance. From Stardom Entertainment there were young rappers MD and Majesty, there was rapper; Rio-Soundz, whose song lyrics were quite comical, and last but not least was talented female rapper Rudegal, who is an inspiration for other female rappers. The headlining act on the night was Conrad The Scoundral, a grime artist who can rap with a live band. He is very talented and knows how to interact with the audience. His performance was energetic and fun, and his music is amazing, in the near future he is going to be an artist to watch out for. This event encouraged music across the community and brought people together and enabled youths to showcase their talent and to network with people in the music and media industry. People from the industry included the Label Manager of ‘WAH WAH 45s’; Dom Servini and the voice of virgin media; Letitia SD. The event organisers Marie-Claire Denyer and Rachel Allen organised a great event, which showcased music artists of the future. These musicians are passionate in what they do and this really showed during their performances. The youth of today are being labelled without properly being personally known. That day some youths and people in the community came together, to put on a great performance and do something wonderful.
