Lookin 4 Juice formed in late 2004 based out of Escatawpa, Mississippi. The band was formed when (Derek Norsworthy Lead Vocals) Zack Christensen Guitar) Ryan Green Bass) Mason Holland Drums) All lifelong friends got together and started jamming on some entrancing original ideas. The young group of musicians influenced by a variety of influences ranging from Incubus, RHCP, 3 Doors Down, Led Zeppelin, and Cold Play to rock bands such as Nickelback. The band then began polishing the original ideas in a local recording studio. Through long hours, hard work, and immense dedication these songs became the 14 tracks on their debut album. The album was set to release in October of 2005, that’s when the devastating hurricane Katrina destroyed their hometown of Escatawpa and the entire gulf coast region. Despite the wreckage of their homes and community’s and the loss of most of there music equipment to water damage, Lookin 4 Juice recovered, released and set out to tour their album that they had worked so hard on selling several thousand copies at their powerfully presented shows and charity events . In the summer of 2006 the band went back to work writing and doing pre-production on a new album, while playing as many shows as possible to expand their already wide-ranging all ages fan base, and established their unique sound throughout their region. Lookin 4 Juice has shared the stage with national touring acts: Neurosonic, Egypt Central, Absence of Concern, Edwin McCain, and Sister Serra to name a few. In this time frame the band has competed and won several battle of the bands around the south east, and playing packed out shows on several major college campuses. Currently, L4J is receiving airplay for their new demo tracks on radio stations throughout the US, have established an ever growing all ages fan base, and also are receiving outstanding reviews about their new songs. In May 2008, Lookin 4 Juice is set to release/distribute their highly demanded second album across the nation. Lookin 4 Juice is being considered one of the prominent up and coming rock bands in their region, and have established numerous dedicated fans on the local and national level. The band generates a lot of energy in their live performances with tasteful lyrics, ripping guitars, solid bottom also have a powerful presentation and bow string tightness. Lookin 4 Juice has set towering goals for there self and plan to work as hard as it takes to achieve them!
