Monkey killing monkey, killing monkey over pieces of the ground....Silly monkeys' given thumbs, they make a claw and beat their brother down...Repugnant is a creature that would squander the ability to lift an eye to Heaven, concious of his fleeting time here.."
A groan of tedium escapes me, startling the fearful. Is this a test? It has to be. Otherwise I can't go on. Draining patience. Drain vitality. This paranoid, paralyzed vampire acts a little old.
But I'm still right here, giving blood and keeping faith. And I'm still right here. But I'm still right here, giving blood and keeping faith. and I'm still right here.
I'm gonna wait it out
If there were no rewards to reap, no loving embrace to see me through this tedious path Ive chosen here, I certainly would've walked away by now.
I'm gonna wait it out
If there were no desire to heal the damaged and broken met along this tedious path Ive chosen here, I certainly would've walked away by now.
I still may. And I still may. Be patient.
I must keep reminding myself of this...

I'm cyber-stalking/comment spamming you. Whahaha. Just wanted to say that I am super pumped to see your concert calendar filled back up. For some strange reason that inspires me.
Apologies; I can't bring myself to put that song up yet...I don't have any forgiving "die hard fans". I have a few hundred people that like Square 1 and half of them are going, "What else you got goin' on country boi!" So...I'll just wait till the album is done.
My hesitancy probably has a lot to do with my tiny balls, too.
I'm headed to the beach tonight for a wedding weekend and then its straight into finals hell until May 12 :( Don't screw up and maybe one of these days I'll get to experience the Dirky + EB magic for myself.
Sunday, April 19, Earthbound will play a free outdoor concert called “Earthbound’s Earthfest” to help raise funds and awareness for Black Warrior Riverkeeper.
Sunday April 19, 2009 - 1pm to sundown in Bessie Estelle Park, BIRMINGHAM (Directions) - All Ages - FREE
Ahem, yeah. Let's wait to release that until we can walk away with hands held high saying, "it's perfect". I am coming home from "vacation" on Wednesday and will begin to work on finishing everything. I might put TSK out on Facebook, or Imeem...but myspace is my central command right now and I'm not sure I am okay to put it out there yet.
Not quite sure how the "distribution" of the cd is going to work, but If they do give me some copies to sell, I will be SURE to give you some as you have always impressed me as a salesman.
I hope the Marty's gig went well. I can't imagine that it didn't.
I'm taking next semester off from school to concentrate on making this album. Should be fun. I'll give you a phone call at some point to have you play bass, guitar, a fiddle strung with your pubs...what have you.
The next song is like Square 1 in the fact that the bass line is synthetic, so, I have the bass covered; but I'll send you a rough demo and if you think, "oh a ****** would sound great in there", we'll work something out. I have to record 30 to 74 minutes of music, so I'm sure that at some point I'll involve you again. That is of course if you have the time.
I think I am more excited about playing this stuff live (granted I sell 1,000 copies). I was working on a live piano based version of Square 1 last night. It's a lot more mellow and sexy than the drum and bass version, but it works well in it's own right.
I failed to mention that if I do sell 1,000 copies, not only will they pay for the transportation and lodging, but I will receive a decent chunk of change for doing it. Saying that, playing for a live Munook gig may actually be a worth while endeavor. It won't pay as well as being a nurse, but it may be something to consider. Time will tell.
