About me:
The fine folks at DETOUR have come calling for some
crafty help for their music festival June 12-14: "Rock
City Fest".
JUNE 14TH SATURDAY: ROCK CITY FEST DAY PARTY AT
C.A.I.D
We will have two mid-afternoon projects going on!
1. "SHREDDER ROCK BIN" This is a
make-your-own-rock-wardrobe idea! Interesting donated
items/clothes/materials and tools ready to be remade
into your hot new summer look. Shred a t-shirt! Make
shirt arms into legwarmers! This is a tongue-in-cheek
project and may have some hilarious results!
All supplies will be on hand, but bring more if you
have weird clothes to donate!
2. "INSTANT INSTALLATION” Guests and musicians will be
encouraged to make artwork on the spot, which will be
instantly mounted in CAIDs main floor gallery space!
We will need helpers to guide our instant artists,
help mount their work and make art cards with info...
All the art supplies will be on hand.
* 10 Loop participants will get an ALL ACCESS PASS
(good for every night) of the Detour Rock City Fest!!
