A brother Rayner. Enjoys the freedom of the centre stage and never manages to forget his words.
Not every song, anyway.
Unpredictable dress sense which compliments a confident stage presence.
Also enjoys the various swooning of passing females and the odd misrecognition in McDonald's.
The perfect frontman

Little smasher. Everything you need in a Bass Man.
Moody, melancholic, mercurial.
Possesses a determined, sometimes sad, propensity to wear 'rock'n'roll' trousers and, as with all players of Bass, sticks with the pace every time.
Unpredictable hair colour appears to be a cruel baiting of his keyboard playing colleague, Tom.
Short on legs, long on fret-board - tries his vocal chords at singing.
gi
A brother Rayner.
A consistent hitter of drums and very good at keeping in time with the rythmn.
We like to think of him as our kind of metronomey type person.
Or drummer.
fea
A brother Rayner. Rythmn guitar and frilly shirt wearer.
Never a bum strum to be heard from this bespectacled fellow.
Likes to throw his arms in the air when he sings solo much to the excitement of the coach-loads of friends he cons into turning up to gigs.
Pays them handsomely to chant his name at the front of the stage.
tom
A music maestro who doesn't know when to stop picking up new instruments.
Can get a tune out of anything within ten feet.
Keyboards, Harmonica, Lead Guitar, the odd Vocal here and there, Nostrils, the list goes on.
Thick on flair, thin on hair. Yes, Tom is bald.
He doesn't mind you saying it either.
In fact, he will tell you with a great enthusiasm to get his point across that he has, actually, heard all the jokes before.
Influences
Aztec Camera, The Beatles, Elvis Costello, Fountains of Wayne, Alphaville
Sounds Like
The Housemartins with big guitars. Aztec Camera with big harmonies.
