About me: The CricketSoda Myspace Editor!..
I need to meet people in Leeds - I've met some great ones but I feel as if I'm missing out on the ones who go to gigs, the cockpit and who like to just chill and discuss new music...WHERE ARE YOU???? ...
I place a high emphasis on music and politics. I will judge you on these criteria...although I admit my first impressions have been wrong in the past.
I am happiest when I'm with my friends, preferably with a band playing on stage. I enjoy the outdoors as long as it's in civilization or extremely close to it. I am a city geek and get excited by the sight of skylines and bridges. If you tell me that there is a ghery or van de roe in the area I'll go take pictures of it, because well, thats what I do.
I enjoy all the things that make life great: getting a frap on a warm summer day, playing croquet in a traffic circle with my lesiure sports club, cruisin' the streets of small town saskatchewan, staring at the cute moppies in the clubs, and always having an interesting story relating to city or small town life on hand for every situation. I'm rarely at a loss for words and I bite my lip when I am nervous.
Who I'd like to meet: The fine people of leeds, because thats where I live...
I'll be replacing my Liverpool scensters (dreamy mcsexpants, FM, lips, rockstar charles) with Leeds scensters, so stay tuned...
People who also make up ridiculous nicknames for people that they see every weekend but never talk to...
Anyone who likes to talk about music, cities, pop culture, politics or hanging out with the band stories...
Anyone who can explain why dill pickles are impossible to get in the UK...
omdl. i haven't got up with you in quite some time young lady! how is all going? will you be joining mr evans and miss peter on their tour of nyc? i sure hope so! xoxo.
I fucking love this picture. You look schemingly alluring and Martyn... well, Martyn just looks plainly out of it. Great to see you guys and thanks for the boogie.

Leo posted the link on Facebook (you should join). How's it going? I'm up at four writing a paper I don't really understand anymore. I'm fucking finishing it before I go to sleep though, as I'm sick of it hanging, hanging, hanging over my head. It's almost a year since I visited Martyn. That blows my mind.
All the obvious things of course, but also the catacombs is something that you won't see in other cities. Go pubbing in the Latin Quarter at night (the area to the south of Notre Dame), and if you go there during the day, go to Shakespeare and Co. and buy a trashy novel (I bought 'My Life as a Teenage Dwarf'). I'm in Browsers' and 'Hips Don't Lie' by Shakira is playing right now; it reminds me of Termini Station in Rome. If you're visit includes a Sunday night, you should go to Trocadero (I don't know if that's spelled correctly); it's directly across the river from the Eiffel Tower. There's a huge fountain that reflects the sparkling lights of the Tower and a drum circle on the steps with a whole bunch of bohemians dancing and drumming. It was amazing to just sit and watch. We also managed to catch some photo shoot for Miss France (or something) while we were there. Fuck am I ever jealous. I just watched 'Amelie' this weekend and it made me want to go back so bad. I should tell you more, but this is long enough for now. I'll get back to you.
Are you coming home for Christmas/the birthday, ou non? Your sister informed me she is, which made me wonder about you. Also, how are you? It has been a while.
Damnit! I wanted to comment on your cleavage first but I thought Martyn might beat my ass. So when you coming back cause I've got a christmas party coming up and I need some sweet dip. Plus I think I might be able to pick you up. If you know what I mean and I think you do.
