Loose Shoes is a combustion of artists who have
tapped the spirit of American Roots Music,
and combined it with fragments of World Music
to create a unique, raw, and raucous sound
to suit belly dancers, and honkers and shouters alike.

Blues, Jazz, Country, Cajun, Zydeco,
Klezmer, Bluegrass and more
are shuffled together with wit, humor and improvisation
to present an ever-changing musical soundscape
played on a clutch of instruments
seldom seen or heard by modern audiences.

Loose Shoes creates a sound that's always changing
style, texture and pulse by mixing
violin, accordion, harmonica, drums, guitar, steel guitar,
pennywhistle, percussion, and other exotic instruments.

In an age where music is closely categorized,
digitalized, and consumerized,
Loose Shoes presents music played by real people
from diverse musical backgrounds,
crossing musical lines right before your very eyes.
