No matter who's playing with us or where we are,
Loose Shoes is ALWAYS LOTS OF FUN!!!
Influences
There is nothing that lives, breathes, exists on any plane,
functions, animates, re-animates, stoically sits,
screams, shimmies, whispers, or just IS
that HASN'T influenced us in either a negative or positive way.
La Pootinella is a wonderful influence! Find her My Space page at:

We call our music, "Good Time Music", because that's what it is!
We've also described it as
"Acoustic American Roots Music,
with World Music overtones" because it's also that.
Loose Shoes is a combustion of artists who have
tapped the spirit of American Roots Music,
and combined it with fragments of World Music
to create a unique, raw, and raucous sound
to suit belly dancers, and honkers and shouters alike.
Blues, Jazz, Country, Cajun, Zydeco,
Klezmer, Bluegrass and more are shuffled together with wit, humor and improvisation
to present an ever-changing musical soundscape
played on a clutch of instruments
seldom seen or heard by modern audiences.
Loose Shoes creates a sound that's always changing
style, texture and pulse by mixing
violin, accordion, harmonica, drums, guitar, steel guitar,
pennywhistle, percussion, and other exotic instruments.
In an age where music is closely categorized,
digitalized, and consumerized,
Loose Shoes presents music played by real people
from diverse musical backgrounds,
crossing musical lines right before your very eyes.
CountryHome Forum have more than 5,000 members. Each news you submit to CountryHome Forum will released to my weekly Newsletter with more than 50,000 readers.
Please submit your artist news and events to CountryHome Forum to help your artists to get well known better in Europe. If you do not have the time to submit your artist news and events by yourself, please send it me to: Ch.Lamitschka@t-online.de and I will submit them by myself to CountryHome Forum.
I know that many artists from North America don't have their music videos uploaded to German video websites. The most popular websites are MyVideo.de and ClipFish.de. That means your European audience does not have the chance to find them.
I understand that most of you don't speak German and are not able to upload videos because of the language barrier. If you would like me to upload your videos to the German video websites, please let me know.
Thanks

I hope Alan gave you a CD of Banjo Sandwich since you designed the cover. I don't have any CDs left tight now but plan on having them again within a few months.
Sorry about trying to ravage you the last time I saw you. I honestly couldn't help myself. I hope I didn't scare you.
