I have one. It's on the fritz, as usual, but it makes a lovely planter.

I went back to school, but had to drop two of the three courses I was taking due to other things in life being the priority. Sometimes I wish I was just alone to do what I want to do, you know? Thanks for stopping by to see how I'm doing.
    You're the best :)

It amazes me that after all these years you're still an avid reader of my work. I appreciate your input and insight and I thank you very much.

I completely agree with you and I'm so pissed I think I might spontaneously combust. I watched the guy from Lehman brothers dancing as fast as he could a while ago on CNN. These people should be ashamed of themselves. These bastards get people to vote their values while they profess to love Jesus, all the while they're lifting our wallets, letting the infrastructure go to shit and decreasing our rights.

And Palin might be the single most ridiculous choice for a VP running mate I've ever seen. She couldn't answer a question with substance with the damn script in front of her. I'm voting Obama, like I think I told you before, but this effectively ties his hands on his much needed programs for this country as the money disappears with the passing of this administration. Bravo Bush, damage fucking done.

And I don't want a war with Pakistan. We're getting dangerously close to creating another terrorist attack for ourselves. The mismanagement of our economy and the arrogance of our foreign policies will sink us, and soon. This bailout will do nothing for Main Street.

I could rant for days on this. It's starting to get annoying that we've been correct since the days we marched on DC in 2002/2003. I had really hoped to be proven wrong. I'd rather be wrong than to have to witness this shit unfold like it has. I feel as helpless as I did the day Bush announced we were going to war with Iraq. I saw it coming, as did so many people, but still here we are.

    Fuck! End rant...

We just got a lot of rain...which we really needed, actually. So, le trees and le shrubs are happy again...and it looks like I now have more mowing in my future this year!

Going to be a mellow weekend for me. Just going to get some things done around the house and try to work on some creative stuff.

    Have a great one!

Well, the 40 cubic yards of mulch has been moved, so that's out. Hmmm. Maybe I can dust off the old push-mower and you can mow the lawn that way. 4.3 acres. That might do it...

    And, regarding your flight:

I'm the guy who ALWAYS gets the kids (someone ELSE'S kids) next to, in front or behind me on a flight anyway...so I have NO pity for you.

    C'mon ova.

    Japan. Hmmm. Hate you.

A chocolate whey protein shake in the morning (with a banana ground up in there too...and some chilled coffee). Then, walk, treadmill or eliptical around 5 miles 3-5 times a week. Nothing much will happen for a couple of weeks...then the magic will start to occur.

Oh...and stop eating those 35 Snickers bars a day...

    :D

    Hello Lori,
Interesting how you extended my analogy on snow flakes. That is where I originally went when I wrote that, but deleted it. After reading your comments, I decided to revisit it and post my original. If you don't mind, tell me what one you like best. Thanks! Hope all is well with you and your family.

    Hi Lori,
It says you've posted a poem but I can't read it. I get the message: "This specific blog entry you're trying to read is currently set to be private, and only the blog owner can see it."
That's cruel and unusual punishment, you know.
