My Guitar videos on: My latest Video: Guitar Solo:
This is a solo from a song by my old band. I was very influenced by Paul Gilbert,Kirk Hammett,Steve Vai,Jim Hendrix,Joe Satriani and Sam Totman on this one. I used a ton of different scales for this such as,
Penatonics,blues,Major,minor,cromatic and Hybrid scales,
I go further and use the major and minor 3rds/7ths but lets not make it to complicated and leave it at that;)
Hope you enjoy!!!
Frost Shards:
This started off as a Luca Turrili(Rhapsody) tribute, but then I changed the song around and recorded it under this name. It is mainly based around arpeggios and has about 13 key changes in it, i dont know how or why there are so many but thats the way the song wrote itself. The intro riff is based in an eastern scale using micro-tones in parts to give it an exotic sound. Also the traditional Celtic influences are in there at the end. Recording Quality is'nt to great as it's one of my first recordings but I'm planning on re-recording it with more keyboards as soon as possible.Hopefully in the next week or two
Gargoyles,Angels of Darkness:
This is the Classical guitar intro section of a Rhapsody song. It was written by Luca Turilli and played by Sascha Peath(Heaven's Gate).
I changed it around, added some licks in,some keyboard ideas I had in mind and an alternate ending.

Are you intrested in that new game that came out that they say is the spiritual successor to Baldur's Gate, called Dragon Age Origins? The hellraiser sounds awesome man. At the moment Im saving up my money for Phil Demmel's signature guitar, he's from Machine Head. I have a picture of the guitar in my photo gallery if you want to take a look at it. Im personally excited about it. Right now, Im using a Dean, its Matt Heafy's Signature guitar, hes from Trivium, if you didnt know:p
I used GR 3 and adobe audition, my website has a lot more detail http://alancrice.webs.com/myequipment.htm, however for my future videos I am upgrading my equipment alot and hope to change to pro-tools and pod xt live so there are big changes a foot!

Hey whats up? glad you liked it, as for how long I played guitar? with all the instruments I play I kinda learned off and on between the instruments you know LOL, I'd say if you were to cut the time away from the piano violin etc. down to just the guitar it would be maybe 4 years before I played to that level. I was VERY lucky though 'cuase I got the hear Yngwie Malmsteen like 1 month after starting the guitar so I knew my direction very quikly!
It's crazy you have a million views on your Dragonforce video, maybe mine will get that eventually hehe.
