About me: Lord Leigh, Mister Breakfast, Lord Breakfast . . . .Take your pick of the pseudonym. Founding member , and possibly the most handsome, of Mono Clothing, entrepreneur and serial bigamist. "At your service" he said upon introduction then proceeded to play with the tips of his rather dashing and full bodied moustache.

Who I'd like to meet: Mono Clothing support and work in conjunction with street / graffiti artists with the aim of producing thought provoking, original and aesthetically stimulating art work. The street is a gallery, instead of plain white walls, pictures hanging stranded in a sterile environment. Let the signs, bridges, buildings and anything with a surface bear the marks of a visually aware being. The decay and grime of the urban sprawl can add to the art, contrasting or complementing it, causing the work to be more relevant giving it context and perspective - on display for free to a large audience. Mono challenges the monotony of advertising campaigns that bombard us with more Starbucks, and blurs the lines between product and advertising, concentrating on craftsmanship over mass appeal.
Mono's range of custom hand sprayed t-shirts have come to embody the philosophy of Mono, always original and constantly evolving, while the range of traditionally screen-printed t-shirts continues to rise , and the range of garments available increases.

Like it or not, abandoned and neglected spaces are a global bi-product of industrial areas. Due to the wasteful nature of capitalist ideologies, “real world” problems, like “homelessness”, “poverty”, and “social alienation” never seem to get solved, yet rethinking and reusing these neglected and abandoned spaces within our own communities can help to ease these “societal ills”... Reusing these public spaces causes us to perceive these spaces without economic glasses; it helps us to see thru a more social lens & potentially reverse the process of these problems around the world... inspirecollective.blogspot.com/2009/10/coming-soon-reuse-...
