Lord Roc aka Topaz TD4.... Biography

Lord Roc has skills that range in spectrum from visual arts, which he began freelancing professionally almost 20 years ago, to audio and video production, which he has major accomplishments all across the board.
As a graffiti artist Topaz has been in many gallery shows around NYC including a benefit with Mayor DInkins in the early 90's at the famed Waldorf Astoria Hotel, The Haven Gallery (South Bronx, NY) and The Ryan-Chealsea Clinton medical center (NYC). He has done murals for Sony Records, MTV Made as well as many local businesses and homes and has appeared in The New York Times.
In 2002 he was instrumental in co-founding 5 Pointz, the largest outdoor museum in the world specializing in aerosol art and featuring works by top aerosol artists from around the world. Located in LIC, Queens, 5 Pointz continues to make international headlines and has been featured in music videos, books, publications and websites around the world including: Sony Records, Joss Stone, Rides Magazine, NY1, Joan Jett, The New York Times, NY Post, Daily News, Vibe Magazine, Graphotism, Martha Cooper's Hip hop Files, Graffiti World, etc.
Topaz has also worked professionally in the cartooning and animation field. He's worked on Alvin and the Chipmunks, Mercer Mayer's Little Critter, Biker Mice From Mars, etc.
In the Graphic Design industry Topaz has been freelancing since 1994 working for such heavy weights as: Xerox, McGraw Hill, Jacob & Co. Watches, The Legendary DJ Marley Marl, DJ JS-1 and Rahzel of The Roots, The Carribean X-Games, etc.
As a recording artist, going by the name of Lord Roc, he has released numerous albums and projects since his first EP cassette in 1994. Since then Lord Roc has worked with Marley Marl, Mr. Magic, Capone of CNN, Royal Flush, Sadat X of Brand Nubian, Smooth da Hustler, Ruff Ryders, etc.
Lord Roc holds 3 Underground Music Awards for his independent achievements in the industry. His music has appeared on Hot 97, Power 105, WBLS, The Wendy Williams Show, Future Flavas, Hip hop Nation and Mix Chronicles on Sirius Satellite Radio, etc.
His 'Roccolypse' music video reached the 1 spot on the CVC R&B/Rap video chart and hit 2 on the B&C top 50 chart.
'E2 to Bass' was the most added Hip hop album according to CMJ (college music journal) charts in August of 2004.
