Loredana is a fresh new face from Australia making waves in the US and Europe, Romania, as an unstoppable triple threat being a professional singer, actress, dancer and songwriter.
Loredana started singing when she was 8 years old and has recorded several tasteful and catchy original dance/pop songs. She was signed to a Independent Record Label in 2005 and worked on her development as an artist to become the world’s next Pop Princess. She is presently looking to sign with a major label.
In 2006 she was invited to perform as a Guest Artist for Europe’s annual Callatis Festival held in Romania. There she entertained a crowd of 20,000 spectators and was broadcast live nationally and internationally. She then continued to build her profile as she appeared live on TV Shows, Radio, Magazines and headline news.
Forbidden Fruit is Loredana’s original and was produced by Doug Brady who in his career has worked with Australian artists Kylie Minogue, John Farman and Olivia Newton John. Complex Word is produced by grammy award winning UK producer Rob Davis who also worked with Kylie Minogue for her multi-million selling record smash hit ‘Can’t Get You Outta My Head’. Complex Word was then remixed for Loredana by Brian Canham who composed the unforgettable song ‘Funky Town’ which was made famous by his band Psuedo Echo.
In Loredana’s dance career she has toured with ‘The Australian Ballet School’s, Dancers Company Tour’ as the principal role Young Clara with the magical production of ‘The Nutcracker’. She has also appeared as a guest dancer with international companies such as The Kirov Ballet, The English National Ballet, The Royal Ballet and The Australian Ballet Company. In 2005 Loredana graduated with her dance qualifications holding her Certificate 3 in Dance from the Australian Ballet School.
Loredana then further developed her dance ability by studying Jazz, funk, hip-hop, tap, modern and various other styles to expand her repertoire and artistry.
Loredana is like no other artists because with her funky, fun, fresh image she expresses and gives voice to children, teenagers and young adults who need a strong role model and someone to relate to through the messages and stories her songs give life to. At only 18years of age Loredana knows how to engage an audience with her energetic dance routines, charisma, smile, body language and confidence.
Performing is in Loredana’s blood and it comes as no surprise that she also acts. Having appeared in commercials, prints, movies, TV shows, and theatre production, her name is undoubtedly going to be remembered in Hollywood’s Stars down the Walk of Fame.
Loredana is an exceptional performer who explodes with feelings, emotions and overwhelming energy whilst on stage that she is able to captivate her spectators and allow them to live in the moment. She is unique and no one can do what she was born to do.
Hi Loredana! Heaven & Earth is on hiatus now as Stuart Smith and Richie Onori have joined forces with bassist Steve Priest to reform "Sweet". For those of you unfamiliar with the band, Sweet originally formed in the early 70s and went on to sell over 40,000,000 albums with 11 International Top Ten Hits such as "Ballroom Blitz", "Little Willy", "Love is Like Oxygen", "Fox on the Run", "Teenage Rampage", "Action", "Blockbuster", "Hellraiser" and many others.
This reincarnation of the band reformed last year, playing their first show in June, and went on to play festivals throughout Canada and the States and had played to over 300,000 people before the year was out. During this tour last year they recorded a live CD available on Amazon entitled "Sweet, Live in America" which has received rave reviews - pick up a copy and please Add Sweet As Your Friend On Myspace!
