Good question! I used to read a lot more but now I barely have time. The one I am into now is actually a project in the works written by a friend of mine in Japan entitled Wild FIRE: Legend of the Ryukage (Book 1)
It is a sci-fi action novel series that has very good character development and action sequences! I am not normally into sci-fi so much, but this one is pretty good! I am just getting started on the first book but the story is very well written and has an excellent tone. If you are into any kind of martial arts, sci-fi, or anime, you will probably like this one!
Other than that, I like a lot of old action/suspense/thriller books by authors like Steven King, and Michael Crighton... some Tom Clancey and of course the classics... Emerson, Shakespear, Mark Twain, Louis Lamour... love reading Screenplays... :) I'm also into meta physics, world history, religious philosophy and theology.Heroes

Hello everyone and welcome to the new Loren Avedon MySpace Page page!
I know a lot of you out there have been wondering what I have been up to lately but I have just been too busy to make updates to my site as required. That being the case, I have tasked a good writer friend of mine in Japan who also happens to be a graphics designer (visit his webpage) with the job of giving this old site a much needed make-over in order to keep you guys up-to-date on what is going on with me both personally and professionally!
We will periodically be adding a lot of new content to this site so feel free to stop by anytime!
I have noticed that many of you in the past have had questions about my personal interests and what I like to do in my free time when I am not acting, training, teaching or out romping the streets with my daughter so I have added some new Forums and Blog sections to the page as well!
That should answer a lot of questions for those of you who wonder what sort of things I like to get myself into when I'm not doing Movies! So stop by and we can discuss anything you like (well, almost anything)!

by any chance do you do seminars?
on a side note, king of the kickboxers is a regular staple film at my video stores "kung fu" night we have once a month. always a classic.
hope you plan on a comeback. i know alot of people are waiting to see you kick some butt on screen again
