Loren Davidson calls himself an “escape artist.” This has nothing to do with strait jackets and piranha-filled tanks. Loren’s newest album, Every Day’s a Holiday, shows how to take whatever’s going on in your life—bad days at work, relationship woes, or stress-inducing traffic—make the best of it and reduce the stress in it with a little bit of “tropical attitude.”
The title song looks at how getting laid off can be a blessing in disguise—if you’re going to be out of work for a while, take the opportunity to treat it as a holiday instead, and escape defining yourself by your job title.
