Gamelan music, Harry Partch, old Tangerine Dream, Steve Roach, Jon Hassell, Robert Rich, Peter Gabriel.
Sounds Like
At times reminiscent of Jon Hassell and the darker soundscapes of Steve Roach, Nerell's music shows a delicate touch of great beauty, and his understanding and love of gamelan never leave you feeling even the hint of appropriation.
A cross between Vidna Obmana, Alain Kremski, and a somnabulistic Steve Reich, . . . . and displays a debt to Harry Partch that only the initiated will understand.

Thank you for adding me to your friends list. The music you did with Barry for the film is beautiful. Is there a CD in the works? It would be great. Since Analogue Haven has moved, are you part of Noise Bug? So far, I have seen only Antonio. Lucette
