| General | I love to read, write (of course), do crosswords, bake, horseback riding, going for walks, hanging out with family and/or friends. My favorite thing is spending time with the kids. Can't replace that. | | Music | I love most types of music. Country has always been my top favorite, and you couldn't pay me to listen to rap. I like SOME 'hard' rock, but mainly I like to keep my ears at a normal tone and not feel like banging my head against the wall. | | Movies | I have so many favorite movies, it's not funny. Top ones are "Sense and Sensibility", "Ever After", "Pretty Woman", "A Time to Kill", "While You Were Sleeping", the Harry Potter movies, just to name a few.... | | Television | Again.....if it wasn't for being able to TAPE shows, I probably wouldn't watch anything. I don't have time to sit down and watch every day, so my husband and I tape everything and then spend the summer months trying to catch up. Nice way to spend time together. We watch "24" (favorite!!), "House", "Smallville", "Supernatural", "Survivor", we did watch "Alias", but it's over now. I also enjoy "American Idol". Oh, and we've recently discovered "Prison Break" - and rented Season One. Awesome! | | Books | My favorite authors are Mary Higgins Clark, Sidney Sheldon, Heather Graham, Johanna Lindsey, and Kathleen E. Woodiwiss. | | Heroes | Definitely my parents. About me:
I am a University graduate, having obtained my Bachelor of Arts degree - with a major in English. I spent eight years working as an Early Childhood Educator, spending time with children of all ages - including those with special needs. I enjoy reading, walking the malls with my mother (or strolling through the flea market), hanging out with friends, and most of all spending time with my husband and children.
I have two sisters and two brothers, and an extended family that includes ten nephews and eight nieces. After the birth of my second child, I decided to stay home and watch children -- until my third baby was born, and now have taken time off to focus on family and writing.
My writing interests began when I was a young girl, beginning with short stories and poems - to my first 'book' in grade four entitled "The Mystery of the Missing Horse". Why write mysteries? They keep my interest as well as my readers'. I love to leave my readers hanging at the end of a chapter - unable to put it down until a later time. My method? I create the characters and let THEM write the story. My favorite genre to write is romantic suspense, but I read all different types, and am willing to try something new. Who I'd like to meet:
I love this question - who would you like to meet? Or who would you have dinner with, alive or dead. I would love to spend an hour with Dr. Phil and pick his brain about a few things. Then I would love to meet Angela Lansbury - just because I think she's an amazing actress. Sandra Bullock for the same reason - plus I think she'd be a lot of fun.
Oh, and Matthew McConaughey just because... well, he's HOT!
