On 30th May 2009, Lorna appeared at the Australian Red Cross Power of Humanity Ball in Melbourne, Australia. This event was in aid of the fire victims in Australia.
In April 2009, Lorna completed a successful UK tour of the critically acclaimed Hugh Whitemore play PACK OF LIES, in which she played the role of Helen Kroger. Lorna starred alongside Jenny Seagrove, Simon Shepherd and Daniel Hill. It is anticipated that the show will transfer to the West End later in the year.

On Sunday 29th March, Lorna took part in the British Red Cross Australia Fire and Flood Benefit at The Palace Theatre, London. Lorna was thrilled to be involved and sang one of her favourite Peter Allen songs,'Don't Cry Out Loud'. She also took part in the finale song 'I Still Call Australia Home'.
From November 2008 – January 2009, Lorna played the Wicked Witch of the West in the Stage Version of the Wizard of Oz at the Lowry Theatre in Salford, UK.

On January 12, 2008 Lorna completed her 2nd run in the critically acclaimed UK production of Irving Berlin's WHITE CHRISTMAS: THE MUSICAL.
On July 7, 2007 - Lorna completed her run at the Chichester Festival Theatre’s summer production of Richard Rodgers and Lorenz Hart’s Babes in Arms.
Lorna played the role of 'Phyllis Owen', a highly ambitious stage mother who protects her actress daughter 'Baby' with an iron fist.
The show, about a group of aspiring actors who put on a musical in a barn and then set about taking it to Broadway, contains some of Rodgers and Hart's most famous songs, including "My Funny Valentine," "Johnny One Note" and "The Lady is a Tramp."

LORNA LUFT has
a diverse career spanning more than 35 years. Born to legendary entertainer
Judy Garland and producer Sidney Luft, Lorna began her career at age
sixteen with her mom at the PALACE THEATER in New York and has flourished ever since.
She starred on
Broadway in PROMISES, PROMISES; Off-Broadway in SNOOPY and EXTREMITIES; in
National Tours of THEYRE PLAYING OUR SONG, JERRY HERMANS BROADWAY YEARS and
GUYS AND DOLLS; in regional productions of GREASE, LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS, MAME
and GYPSY; and recorded the 1990 soundtrack of GIRL CRAZY.
Shes appeared on television on THE
JUDY GARLAND SHOW, TRAPPER JOHN M.D., THE NANNY, MURDER SHE WROTE; performed on
the GOLDEN GLOBE AWARDS, the TONY AWARDS with her sister, Liza Minnelli, THE
JERRY LEWIS MDA TELETHON and THE TONIGHT SHOW among others. In films she
starred in GREASE 2, WHERE THE BOYS ARE 84 and MY GIANT.
Her
exuberant concert engagements have introduced her to the worlds most
prestigious venues including triumphant performances at THE HOLLYWOOD BOWL,
CARNEGIE HALL, THE LONDON PALLADIUM and PRINCE EDWARD THEATRE. She's had
the honor of performing in tribute concerts honoring Sammy Davis, Jr.and
Ira Gershwin, both held at Londons ROYAL ALBERT HALL and for former President
Bush at the KENNEDY CENTER for the Inaugural Anniversary Gala.
She was
Co-Executive Producer of the ABC miniseries LIFE WITH JUDY GARLAND based on her
memoir ME AND MY SHADOWS. She is currently celebrating the music of her mother,
Judy Garland, in a one-woman show called SONGS MY MOTHER TAUGHT ME, the
soundtrack for this show is due for release in 2007.
