swim, hike, kayak, swing, dance, sing karaoke, get crafty, sew, travel, read, waste money irresponsibly, play tetris and scrabble, do puzzles, beat my drum, skip to my loo, snuggle, take pictures, and just about anything outside.
Music
I LOVE music. I love world music with lyrics I don't understand. I love female fronted Goth Metal. I love Country. I don't care for tejano or jazz, but I have jammed to the polka at a Fredricksburg festival or two.

Nightwish, Metallica, Dixie Chicks, Within Temptation, Epica, After Forever, Loreena McKennitt, Buena Vista Social Club, Tori Amos, Shakira, Ricky Martin, Dr. Dre, System of a Down, Tracy Chapman, Primus, and if no one is looking I'll jam some Brittney Spears too.

Yay someone posted a video from the concert. I think I gave myself a little bit o' the whiplash! Damn it I'm not too old for rocking out at metal concerts.
Movies
I love historic fiction epics like Troy, Braveheart, 300, The Last Samurai and Pathfinder. I was horribly disapointed in "The New World" and I curse its name because I looked like it would have been soooo good, but it was sooo bad!
I like comedies like the Tenacious D movie - Pick of Destiny. I laughed so hard the first time I cried.
I also dig on kung-fu movies. I like Jakie Chan better than Jet Lee but my favorite is Fist of Legend.
This section wouldn't be complete without mentioning that I totally love dancing movies! Shall we Dance, Dance with me, Saturday night fever, Strictly Ballroom, That's The Way I Like It. Man, I just love dancing!
Television
XENA WARRIOR PRINCESS!! Tell me how you can't like Xena! No don't because I won't believe you and will force you into a Xena marathon with drinking games and costumes! I loved Rome (HBO), and Futurama. I'm starting to think my liking a show a lot curses it to cancellation.
I also enjoy The Daily Show and Colbert Report, Scrubs, anything on the history channel (especially Barbarian Week!) or animal planet, and of course Dancing with the stars and So you think you can dance! Oh but it's so much worse because after the show I dance around the house leaping and twirling. It's a good thing I have shutters on my windows - it's a scary thing!
Books
I read alot, but I noticed I don't update this section as often as I should. The last book I read was Sacajawea and let me tell you, after 1300 pages I know everything there is to know about that chic! I haven't started anything else yet but I am a Half Price Books junkie so I'm sure I have a thousand books to choose from once I get to that place again.
I'm also still stuck in the middle of Robert Jordans juggernaut fantasy series 'Wheel of Time'. I have a vast collection of Nora Roberts romance novels, gobs of historic fiction and Wiccan books out the wazoo!
I enjoy reading Nicholas Sparks (even though that bastard has made me cry every time! Jerk)and I get a good giggle from anything by Al Franken. The last really impressive book I read was Last of the Amazons by Steven Pressfield. It started real slow and almost gave up on it like 5 times in the first couple chapters, but I'm glad I didn't, it was great.
I also love reading books and blogs by Dianne Sylvan (for more on her, she is on my friends list, check her out).

jason and i married for 8 years this year. living in round rock. doing the photography nitch too...when time allows, subbing in the mornings while the kids are in school and working at sonic part time at night. jason is doing well too. working for the state of texas since march. two very active kids. can't wait for school to start for them...lol. we start on tuesday!!!
