Los Angeles has not had an NFL team in almost 15 years. Many proposals have come and gone but the "Los Angeles Stadium" is the most viable to date:
-The project is much more than a NFL stadium/training facility - it will be a Southern California attraction on par with Disneyland, Universal City Walk and Studios, Staples Center and L.A. Live.
-In addition to being a state-of-the-art and environmentally-friendly 75,000 seat stadium and training facility, the site will host a world class entertainment and tourist destination with restaurants and retail open year-round.
-It's centrally located in the LA metro market with nearly 12 million people living within 30 miles away. It's close to a number of highways and already has a Metrolink stop on the site.
-The topography of the site allows them to construct the stadium into a hillside - dramatically reducing the environmental impact, construction time, materials and cost.
-The proposed costs run at approx $800 million (much less than other current stadium construction projects). The stadium will be constructed with private funds (NO TAXPAYER DOLLARS).

After The latest issues with Al Davis, I think he and his raiders are the last thing LA needs. Lets get some fresh blood and a team we can actualy support who plays to win.
Great idea with the LA Fantasy Football League, I've already signed up and I'm ready for Week 1. I don't like to play FF but I liked this one since there is no Draft so I just picked mostly Charger players. It was tough but I stuck with Rivers as QB instead of Manning or Brady because that is the reason I don't like FF, can't root for someone not on my team. It would be nice if I won but I'm playing just for fun.
The Rams were Los Angeles' first flagship franchise in any pro sport, and should have never left the area. Having said that, at this point I would take any team.
i agre whith noemi the stadium is good i live 4 miles from where the stadium would be built at. the charger the jags and the saints are a good idea and good teams. the wack ass raiders or traiders could stay in the gay area. we dont need that garbage here they win no games. go l.a.
