About me:
The Los Angeles Greens is a grassroots organization of fun-loving, politically aware individuals which promote progressive politics in L.A.
We're a group of Green Party members that meet every third Wednesday night of the month at the Peace Center, 8124 W. 3rd St. (near Crescent Heights).
In addition to supporting Green Party candidates, we also advocate for issues important to Greens in L.A., like biking and better transit alternatives, instant runoff voting, protecting the Ballona Wetlands, supporting the South Central Farmers, defending workers’ rights, etc. We’d love to have you join us for a meeting sometime soon. We need your help. Please come by!
As Greens, we strive to actualize the Green Party's Ten Key Values: Ecological Wisdom; Grassroots Democracy; Social Justice; Nonviolence; Decentralization; Community Based Economics; Feminism; Respect for Diversity; Global Responsibility; and Sustainability.

The trick is to stay focused on what you want to happen and let go of what you do not... cuz if you keep seeing things as they are, convincing yourself that you "have to" because that's reality, then it will always be your reality. want to change? it's as simple as changing the who, what, how, why and when of what you look at and FOCUS on... DAILY :)

Failure is the best part of success. They are like yin and yang; you can’t have one without the other. So learn to celebrate your failures. Truly successful people even say they are successful because they have failed more than anyone they know. They keep trying and each time it doesn’t work, it’s just a learning experience. So, go out there, Fail, Learn, Succeed. Fail, Learn, Succeed. Say it with me now, Fail. Learn.. Succeed!!!
Put it this way, you CANNOT get hung up on when something doesn’t go your way. If you stay fixated on the failure, then you cut off the other two steps: Learn and Succeed. Fight the temptation to dwell on the failure with EVERYTHING you’ve got. Get excited about failing! Then Learn, Then Succeed!!!

When life presents you with “experiences”, do you see them as problems that you can do nothing about or moves in a game and your job is to find the solution so you can “win the game?”

Are you a know-it-all adult that no one can tell anything to, the world sucks and that’s just the way it is, or do you have child-like faith and can see things like children see them?

Your mind is like a garden and your thoughts are like grass, beautiful smelling flowers and weeds… If you want grass to grow, you need to “plant it,” water it and take care of it. If you want beautiful smelling flowers, you need to plant “beautiful smelling flowers,” water them and take care of them. Whatever you want in your garden, you need to plant it, water it, take care of it. Now, sometimes your garden will have weeds and you need to pull them out. The thing about weeds… they grow automatically, rather you plan them or not. What are you planting?
