BARRA LIBRE se reunieron el pasado año 2006 tras su disolución en 1994. La banda riojana de Thrashcore nació en 1991 en Logroño. La que fuera proclamada banda revelación en 1993 por los medios especializados de la época ( Heavy Rock, Metali K.O., etc ) , tras la edición de su primera maqueta “Vida Perdida” aquel mismo año registrada en los míticos estudios de grabación Arion de Pamplona, llegó a compartir escenario en varias ocasiones con los grupos Beer Mosh, Sociedad Alkoholika, Flitter, Piperrak, Justicia, Doomsday, Unbounded Terror, Anticuerpos, etc… durante su visita a ciudades como Barcelona, Oviedo, Vitoria, Logroño, Burgos, Aranda de Duero, Benidorm, Ondarroa, etc…

Tres intensos años de actividad que no se volverán a repetir hasta el esperado retorno de Barra Libre en el 2006. Su primer concierto en trece años fue el pasado 9 de Noviembre del 2007 en el Festival Rock en Sotes.

El que antaño fuera trio de Thrashcore aparece hoy reconvertido en cuarteto con dos nuevas incorporaciones, Estetxa ( ex Revancha ) y Dan Diez ( ex Red Wine ) . El grupo ha rescatado el repertorio original, incorporando nuevos temas y manteniendose fiel a su espíritu de principios de los noventa.

BARRA LIBRE meet again after your dissolution in 1994. The one that was a band revelation in 1993, after the edition of your first and only demo "Vida Perdida" registered in the mythical recording studios Arion in Pamplona, which led them to sharing stage with Legion, Beer Mosh, S.A., Doomsday, Unbounded Terror, Final Judgment, S.A., Flitter, Anticuerpos, etc … during your only tour, in cities as Barcelona, Oviedo, Vitoria, Logrono, etc … appearing in magazines as Heavy metal Rock, Metali K.O and other fanzines, it comes back to the musical current importance in 2007 with two of three charter members in his rows, Pepe and Jafo.

Thrashcore's trio turns out to be today turned into quartet with two new incorporations, D.Estetxa (Ex-Revancha) and Dan Diez (Ex-Red Wine). The group has rescued the original digest, incorporating new topics and being kept faithful to the spirit Thrashcore of beginning of the nineties.

In December 6 sheltered in the Studios Track 6 during an alone night to record a Demo that registered all the work realized by the band during 2007.
