Esto supone una mezcla explosiva, que en directo se convierte en una fiesta de potente y divertido RocknRoll.
Los Chicos están formados por una potente base rítmica, que hace moverse a un muerto, 2 guitarristas locos por Wilko Johnson y Steve Cropper, un saxofonista loco, y como cantante, sin ninguna duda, uno de los mejores frontmans de este país.
Después de tocar por garitos de toda España durante siete años, de realizar cuatro giras por Inglaterra y varias visitas al resto de Europa, y de compartir escenarios y hacer disfrutar a gente de talla internacional como los Sonics, Southern Culture on the Skids, Eddie & the Hot Rods, A-Bones, Paul Collins, the Pirates, King Khan, Coyote Men, The Egos (sin olvidar que un artista de la importancia de Beck al preguntarle si le gustaba algún grupo español, dijo ser fan de Los Chicos), han grabado su tercer LP “Launching Rockets” bajo las órdenes de uno de los mas reputados productores de R&R-Garage-Punk del mundo, Mike Mariconda, y con colaboración de lujo por parte de Paul Collins.
Para presentar este nuevo disco (en el sello madrileño Rock Is Pain el cd y el sello londinense Dirty Water Records el LP) volverán a recorrerse todo el continente y donde les reclamen, haciendo bailar a todo el que tenga ganas de fiesta y de mover el culo a ritmo de Rock&Roll.

Los Chicos are based on a swinging rhythm section that would make the dead dance, 2 guitar players mad for Wilko Johnson and Steve Cropper, a plain mad sax player, and one of the best frontmen in Spain doing the singing.
They have been playing at every spot in Spain, and other countries, during the last seven years, sharing the stage with people like the Sonics, Southern Culture on the Skids, A-Bones, Swingin Neckbreakers, the Pirates, King Khan, Eddie & the Hot Rods, Coyote Men, The Egos, Soledad Brothers, Nathaniel Mayer, The Kids, (and let's not forget that that famous guy, Beck, said that he was a fan when asked if he ever heard of any Spanish band). They have recorded their theird LP “Launching Rockets”, with one of the most important producer of R&R-Garage-Punk in the world, Mike Mariconda, and Paul Collins singing one of the songs of the record.
With this new record (in the label from Madrid Rock Is Pain the cd, and the label from London, Dirty Water Records, the LP) they'll raid the continent again, giving it all to the shake my ass to Rock'n'Roll crew.

Ivan Julian, guitarrista fundador junto a Richard Hell de la clásica banda de New York de finales de los 70, The Voidoids. Posteriormente formó la banda The Outsets durante los años 80. También hizo importantes colaboraciones junto a The Clash (Sandinista), XTC o Matthew Sweet entre otros. El día 3 nos visita en la Sala Tropicana Club de Santoña con Cápsula como banda, con la cual ha grabado el álbum The Naked Flame" el cuál presentarán en directo junto a la banda The White Radars. Obligatorio si quieres aprobar!!!
