WHO THE HELL ARE (LOS) CHICROS?
WE are a four-men band from Paris, France.
WE play indie/rock/pop/psychedelic/shoegaze music.
OUR songs deal with loneliness, mostly because we are alone when we write them.
WE play music for the heart, for the soul, for the brain. And for the body.
WE are fly. We don't wear suits and ties.
MOST bands want to be different, we want to be the same. And our songs are nice.
OUR first songs were released in 2003 on comps: I Hear Voices (with other artists like Notre Dame, Air, Visible Boy, Damien...) and Beautiful Music (with Portishead, PJ Harvey, Cibbo Mato, Comelade etc...)
.. Our first single BACK IN THE WILD was released in 2004. You might have heard it on a TV show called Grey's Anatomy.....
Our first EP was called TOO COOL FOR SCHOOL and was released in 2005.
Our next single DISKONOIZE was released in 2006.
Our first long player is called SOUR SICK SOUL and it's been out since 2007 (2006 in Japan).
The new album is a multi-conceptual LP called RADIO TRANSMISSION and it's been out in France, Belgium, Switzerland & Japan since May 18th 2009.
A lot of people like our songs and that makes us very happy. Some people don't like us and that's even cooler. This profile was edited with my balls.
