Influences
From what I understand, just the adventure of playing music itself...
Members of Los Cincos have been in and out of bands while together (Pennikurvers and Honeywell) and after their break up in 1999.(Volume Eleven, Syncopation, Mummurs and Klaxon Hooves.)
Los Cincos started in early 1964 as One eyed richard and the Goddamn Liars.
During this time we were expermenting with distruction of music, which we discovered a portal to the future when we went through we were in 1994 TRAPPED ,We quickley realized the only thing that would bring us back was to ROCK, so we did ,we were an amazing live band, with members switching instruments mid-set, going from sloppy garage punk to haunting surf licks psycadellia and our more loungey pop work with April March.
I'm a member in the band and have I decided to start this for anyone who's heard/never heard of us , for fans and friends to find each other...
This is a work in progress and hopefully a place where I can put updates on how the members are doing, where they are and their new projects... Anyone who has pictures, video, etc., let me know, I'm always looking for anybody with footage of a show theyn played on Valentine's Day in 1996.
That's the night that Long Gone John from Sympathy said he wanted to sign us.

AEROSOL ANTIQUITIES JANUARY 5TH @ CHANGO 1559 ECHO PARK AVE. LOS ANGELES CALIFORNIA 90026 ALL NEW WORKS ON EXHIBIT BY JEREMY SZUDER OPENING RECEPTION 7PM-10PM EXHIBIT ENDS JANUARY 31ST.
"it became apperent to jeremy szuder, after 8 years of making art, that he was attempting to beat the "machine" from the outside in.his position in life as a blue collar, working class underdog, has made a heavy imprint into szuders' artistic psychie, and thus, has now given way to a new outlook and a rather hopefull artistic revalation. aerosol antiquities is a brand new collection of works created with the notion of planting commoditiy deep into the center of a thriving, non stop community, where the clock reigns supreme, and man kind works and keeps the buzzing of the machine alive and more powerful than ever. szuder has taken a whole new approach to his paintings and this exhibit marks the beggining of no end."

I think you fuckers were going to play in my back yard w/ PC-415 and voo doo glow skulls, but a fight broke out with RCC jocks and the cops came and busted the party-Oh well
I once shared the back of a pick up full of equipment home from spanky's with you guys.
When we were all big clothes wearing skater boys.
i Think i was walking tagging the 91 before i got there.
oooh...how I miss Los Cincos! I had theeeee best of times at 16 trying to make it to all the shows!!! I still listen to all the stuff, pretty much daily. Thanks for za best music!
One of the many things written on the drum booth/control room at Dave's...
"It's a dead fucking day..."
then under that, someone added "But it's always beautiful in Grover's Mill..."
I was trying to figure out why Grover's Mill sounded so familiar...For whatever reason, this random bit of information caused me to ponder it for another 5 minutes, till I realized it was the name of the first town where a martian ship landed in the radio drama version of "The War Of the Worlds"...Don't know why I remembered that, but there it is...
'ello - greetings from vienna! here's a little pixel(f)art cover i made the other day...more will follow, but frankly, 5 deadly sins is too hard to do for a dummy like me. anyway - enjoy! thanks for all.
Fond memories of these boys. I guess we met through the Crown for Athena girls.. or from when I booked shows at Cell 63... maybe Jabberjaw... who knows. whatever the case, y'all were just plain fucking rad.
so i guess since we have a page here, i might drop the news about another albums worth of material that is going to be recorded for another april march/los cincos l.p.ryan if you read this, im super down to get going on it soon.
the songs you wrote are amazing, as usual.
cheerio,
