Growing up in south Texas, near the Mexican border, this skate/punk outfit known as Los De Verdad or "The True Ones", have created a distinctive mixture of Spanish and English punk rock that transcends language and cultural barriers. Heavily influenced by 80's hardcore/punk bands like D.R.I., Suicidal Tendencies, Dead Kennedys, and D.I., Los De Verdad play aggressive, high-energy skate punk that will definitely have all the punks slamming in the pit. Keeping true to the d.i.y. spirit, these guys have two self-released Ep's under their belt - Los De Verdad "Self-titled Ep" and the "Techniques Ep". Recently, they finished recording a full length CD - Los De Verdad "Back Home Texas Lp" which was self-released July 2005. Being no stranger to the tour van, L.D.V. has toured Texas, played various skate contests, and has opened for bands such as The Exploited, D.R.I., The Nobodys, and Andrew WK. Members of Los De Verdad include: OR - Vocals, Dan - Guitar, Jacob - Bass, and Rajiv - Drums. In promoting "Being True to Yourself" and "Doing What You Want", Los De Verdad takes you back to the days when drinking a case of beer and skating a half pipe was everything to live for.
