Los Diablos was officially formed in Auckland in April 2006. They perform 3hrs of material offering blues classics and bluesy numbers by artistes as varied as Muddy Waters, Jimi Hendrix, Bessie Smith, Ray Charles, Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Santana.
Since the project's inception the band has experienced more than its usual share of rock n roll ups and downs with resignations, firings, hirings and serious injury along the way. During this turbulent period a rumour spread that the band were cursed with bad luck for taking the name Los Diablos (which means The Devils in Spanish)
The current line-up have been performing together since March 07 and this rumour is now all but buried. Their new 7 track E.P. (now available) aptly titled the "Not Cursed" E.P. features 3 Los Diablos original songs and 4 of the most popular live tracks. The E.P. is currently getting extensive airplay and support from Nate at the Blues Room, (www.communityradio.co.nz) and the fellas at the Crossroads blues show on KfM 106.9

Hey Phil I've edited our interview (The Blues Room, NZ Music Month) and am wanting to post it as a podcast. It includes some of Los Dialos songs so will get you to check it for approval.
I'm loving having your E.P Not Cursed guys. Bought it for hubby and have been blasting it along with Midge Marsden and Bullfrog Rata, another recent aquisition. Kudos to the guy who plays harmonica - Craig Bracken. Love it all.
Hey Fellas, It was good to finally catch up with you guys last night. Great set, you were smokin'! We hope we can share the stage with you boys again sometime soon.
Firstly, thanks very much for having The Jukes as one of your friends here on myspace. We're pretty proud to report that we've had about 1500 plays of our blues tunes. That may not be huge in the scheme of things but not bad for a pretty new band down in little old’ New Zealand.
We've been also been gigging around Auckland town and have been knocked out by the response.
So, we would like to thank everyone for their kind support and comments.
Our plan is to hopefully record some more tunes in the New Year. We are also planning to video some more live performances and post them on YouTube fairly shortly.
