Two years after their first CD, Los Diaños, from Curitiba - Brazil, is releasing the second item of their discography: "Contagem Regressiva para a Insanidade" (Countdown to Insanity). The album is available only in vinyl LP or mp3 formats a different and pretty unique combination for nowadays.
The band started in 1999 and is known for mixing vintage music styles (such as 30's and 40's jazz, dixieland and bluegrass) with the heavy end of rock n roll (psychobilly, punk and metal).
The group had already supported bands like Placebo, Ratos de Porão, Weezer and Mercury Rev on big festivals like Claro Que é Rock, Goiania Noise, Curitiba Rock and Psycho Carnival (the biggest psychobilly festival of Brazil), besides playing on MTV Brazil and many alternatives places from bookstores to pubs and, of course, lots of underground bars in Brazil.
