These opening lines from “Todos Santos Magico” capture the sounds and spirit of Baja California Sur: chickens and dogs in the yard, surf in the distance, trumpets and two-beats blasting from car radios… a place where life unfolds at a languid pace all its own. .... Lefty, DC and El Biggo Wiggo, three musicians from the north who have made music together for nearly forty years, now make their annual pilgrimage to Todos Santos, near the tip of the Baja, to compose and record in an open-air casita under the palapa roof. In between morning coffee, yoga, surfing, siestas and a bountiful table, new music comes to life. These are Los Hombres del Norte. .. .. ..
