Su historia data desde hace 30 años, pero no es sino hasta el nuevo milenio que empieza una nueva generación del grupo duranguense más sólido dentro de la música mexicana, Horóscopos de
Durango.
Desde entonces, el grupo liderado por Armando Terrazas y encabezado por las hermanas Vicky y Marisol Terrazas, se ha convertido en el icono de la música duranguense. Su combinación de tuba, tambora y saxofón los distingue del resto de las agrupaciones que buscan un espacio en la industria musical, pero la dedicación, carisma y profesionalismo de sus integrantes los convie
No es raro ver los centros de espectáculos abarrotados cuando Horóscopos está en cartelera. Cada escenario que pisan lo convierten en suyo, robándose el cariño de la gente que los sigue desde su cuna, Chicago, Illinois y todo Estados Unidos, hasta pasear por toda la República mexicana. Su labor musical ha llevado a poner la bandera de Durango muy en alto, por lo que el gobernador de ese estado, Ismael Hernández Deraz, les entregó las llaves de la ciudad y los nombró uno de los cinco orgullos más grandes del estado de los alacranes. Ciudades como Morelia, Michoacán, Guadalajara, Jalisco, Nayarit, México DF, entre otras, también los aclama y reclama como suyos.
Por si eso no fuera suficiente, los Horóscopos de Durango han roto record de asistencia en el afamado Estadio Azteca, Palacio de los Deportes, y en los escenarios más importantes de Ecatepec y Querétaro.
Su cuna, Chicago, los ha visto crecer y el apoyo incondicional de su gente los ha llevado a convertirse en favoritos a pasos agigantados. Su música es escuchada por todo Estados Unidos. Sus paisanos esparcidos por estados como California, Texas, Denver y Atlanta los siguen fielmente cada vez que visitan su ciudad.
Pero una de las sorpresas más gratas para el grupo duranguense ocurrió el verano del 2007, cuando llegaron por primera vez al espectacular y prestigioso tablado del Madison Square Garden de Nueva York. Más de ocho mil personas hicieron acto de presencia para aplaudir al grupo mas pegado del momento. Los Horóscopos de Durango definitivamente esta rompiendo barreras y abriendo puertas para la música mexicana en tablados inimaginables rompiendo todas las expectativas.
En Estados Unidos, los Horóscopos son los representantes de las nuevas generaciones de jóvenes hispanos, que además de amar sus raíces mexicanas, viven el día a día cotidiano en la Tierra del Tío Sam. Esto, ha convertido al grupo en una única plataforma para la exposición y promoción de novedosos productos de calidad a la comunidad consumidora

La formación de las hermanas Terrazas ha puesto un estandarte de calidad dentro de la música mexicana. Marisol se enamoró de la música a los nueve años, y desde entonces se ha dedicado a perfeccionar su talento tocando la tambora, los teclados, el acordeón y la trompeta. Vicky, por su parte, es una de esas pocas voces privilegiadas que puede interpretar cualquier melodía, desde sus norteñas favoritas, hasta la más difícil obra de Richard Strauss.
