The original sound of Losing September began in 2002 in Northwest Indiana, with Bruce playing acoustic sets at coffee houses in the Chicago area. As the band matured, so did Losing September's sound. With the addition of Jimi on drums and Dustin on bass, the trio has created an alternative sound that is original as well as hailed by their fan following. The band credits such artists as Led Zeppelin, TOOL, Deftones, Killswitch Engage, Nirvana and Lost Prophets.
The band is currently based out of Muncie, Indiana, but playing shows across the state from Terre Haute to Indianapolis to Muncie to Chicago.
