Los Kahunas cultivan el Surf Instrumental de manera depurada y exquisita, reviviendo el espíritu de la California de principios de los 60s y brindando un variopinto repertorio de composiciones totalmente originales y versiones de temas clásicos, sumados al vestuario y las coreografías características del género.
Durante su fructífera carrera, este elegante combo instrumental ha llegado a presentarse en los más importantes escenarios de la escena musical local: The Roxy, Niceto, La Trastienda , El Teatro, Unione e Benevolenza, Hard Rock Café, el festival internacional B.A. Stomp! y un largo etc., compartiendo escenario con bandas del calibre de Massacre, Mal Momento, Expulsados y en el festival del 9 de Julio en el estadio de Vélez Sarsfield organizado por La Renga.
Contando con 2 Cds larga duración y un split editados de manera local e internacional junto al sello de Detroit No Fun records, su calidad musical ha sido reconocida por grandes del Rock Argentino como Gustavo Nápoli de La Renga y Sr. Flavio de los Fabulosos Cadillacs, quienes participan de manera estelar en su ultimo Cd, “Otro reverberante encuentro con Los Kahunas”. Además, son co-fundadores del evento surf-instro más importante de la Argentina, llamado "Surf Party", el cual lleva realizadas 4 ediciones por las cuales ya pasaron artistas del calibre de Gustavo Napoli (La Renga) , Danny Amis (Los Straijackets), Wallas (Massacre), Marcelo Pocavida, Pipo Cipollati, Marcelo y Sebastian (Expulsados) etc.
Con el video de su nuevo corte “6G15” ya en rotación y con mas de 100 shows en su haber, en los que han recorrido localidades como La Plata , Azul, Neuquén, Rawson, Comodoro Rivadavia y Puerto Madryn entre otras, Los Kahunas se preparan para próximas actuaciones por el interior del país, Uruguay, Brasil y Chile.
