The Los Marginales-crew is nothing more than a bunch of hardcore lowlife pain in the asses, basically consisting of Clazz, Nilz, Nonvio, Manray, K-otec, Karim S, and Menaz, all grown up in the dirt hole of Flanders, except for Manray who grew up in the stinking hole of Wallonia, but who cares? It's all the same dump.
The collective was founded back in 2000 (we guess). At first only hosted by Moaner and Nilz, who got in touch with each other by visiting the same legendary bar "Ons Huis" @ Avelgem.
Both guys soon knew they had nothing to offer to the world than irritant,
pernicious thoughts, insane alcoholism and yeah, fucking good music!
Music without any limits our boundaries, ranging from acid, techno, IDM, electro and ambient to sleazy 80's disco, electronic body music and synth-pop (check out the music for shopping malls series!).
It only took months before Clazz, K-otec, Nonvio and Karim S joined the L.M.-ranks
as the 4 of them had the same thoughts about music and life in general.
It wasn't untill early febuary 2007 before Menaz (who was member of a child choir with the Kolaçny brothers - that's why we love him) & Manray joined this silly bunch. It is still too early to tell if they will regret this decision in later life but I guess they will.

11 - 6 - 2007 NEWS - TRIVIA:
De marginale driehoek is een volkse benaming voor het geografisch gebied in Vlaams-Brabant tussen Diest, Aarschot en Tienen, maar niet zelden worden gehuchten aan de rand ook gerekend tot de driehoek. Inwoners zijn vaak het onderwerp van spot in de stad Leuven en worden dikwijls (ten onrechte) gerekend tot de lagere sociale klasse.
Het stereotype omtrent de plaatselijke cultuur is dat zij vooral draait rond voetbal, het ombouwen ("tunen"wink van wagens en uitgaan waarbij de uitgaanstendensen gevolgd worden (gabberen, hakken, jumpen). Het jumpen (is trouwens groot geworden binnen de marginale driehoek, voornamelijk in de Stadsfeestzaal in Aarschot (ook wel 'De Zoal' genoemd) Meermaals per jaar wordt hier de Jump Release Party georganiseerd, waar de grootste Jump-DJ's van de lage landen hun muziek komen draaien. Ondertussen bestaan er reeds verscheidene variaties van het jumpen (french jump, duojump, etc). De jeugd heeft verder een voorkeur voor merkkledij, designerdrugs zoals ecstasy en is laaggeschoold, althans, zo wil het cliché.
De legende wil dat Napoleon voor hij de slag van Waterloo aanving alle manschappen verzocht die niet geschikt waren voor de veldslag (i.e. die te dom waren) om zich hier terug te trekken.

This morning, Moaner made his appearence in "The Grote Peter Van De Veire Ochtendshow", the best radioprogram in the world! He played the bingo-game, but didn't win but is was well worth the effort! When subscribing to the bingo you have to give Peter a reason why he should call you up. Well, Moaner's reason was definitely good enough for Peter! He promised if he could participate he would cut off his pubic hair with a pair of garden scissors and send it to Sofie Lemaire, Peter's sidekick (Moaner has a mad crush on Sofie :p). Well... the fool did it! Los Marginales to the bone, aight?!

In stedelijk festival Haarlem Met Een Vlaams Accent dat de hele maand oktober in Haarlem plaatsvindt, is )toon) aanwezig in twee opmerkelijke programma’s. Op zondag 11 oktober vindt in De Nieuwe Vide een presentatie plaats van de elektronica- en ambiëntlabels KRAAK en Plague Recordings.
Na zeven spraakmakende grote festivals van 2000 tot en met 2006 is )toon), het Haarlemse evenement dat de schijnwerpers richt op beeld en geluid met elektronica als grondstof, in 2009 vooral actief binnen andere culturele manifestaties.
Op zondag 11 oktober 2009 treden van 16:00H in de Nieuwe Vide aan de Minckelersweg drie groepen op van het Gentse platenlabel KRAAK. Op het programma staan Dolphins of the Future, Bear Bones, Lay Low en Silvester Anfang.
Na een pauze, waarin een maaltijd verkrijgbaar is, zijn de meer ambiënt georiënteerde acts Nathan Siter (USA) / Ibrahim Terzic (Fin) en de Zweed Manifesto te horen. Daarnaast zal er nog een exclusief project met soundtrack van Wicked Messenger (D) gepresenteerd worden: "Officium nocturnum de praesentia infinita Ineffabilis vel Cantus ritualis invocationis visionum causa". An exclusive set of ritual music accompanied and interpreted by the nocturnal visions of The Nothing (CAN) featuring Matthew McLaughlin (UK)’. Verder nog een DJ-set met muziek van Audela (Ambient Task Force).

Soundclips from forthcoming Wicked Messenger CD "Vision Rites And Techniques Of Ecstasy" have been added to the player on the Plague website. This epic record (Plague's and WM's most ambitious project sofar) is thematically centered around ancient Mesoamerican cult and culture. All tracks refer to certain spiritual and cultic practices, in particular the vision quest.
