Surgida em Vila Velha / ES, a banda faz uma mistura muito criativa do SURF MUSIC, da LUTA LIVRE, do PSYCHOBILLY, e dos "B" MOVIES, tudo mesclado com muita originalidade e energia, shows bastante performáticos, pseudônimos de famosos lutadores lendários mexicanos, músicas empolgantes e um visual bizarro, trazendo “El Dia de Los Muertos” pro palco em qualquer show que participem.
A banda vem se destacando e acumulando admiradores nos quatro cantos do mundo (visite o myspace e verá do que estou falando), por sua proposta completamente inusitada, misturando lendas e contos da cultura mexicana, letras em espanhol, filmes e literatura de terror, a luta livre e o bom e velho surf music californiano.
Seu primeiro CD demo espalhou-se pelo circuito psycho-surf-a-billy mundial, obtendo uma excelente repercussão que trouxe reconhecimento e diversas oportunidades para participar de coletâneas dentro e fora do país como SURF KNOTS (México), YELLS FROM THE CRYPT (Texas – E.U.A.) e SURF AS ART (México), MUQUECA MUSICAL (ES), BRASILLIAN SURF (Europa) e mais recente MAREA MISTERIO (México).
Agora divulgando o seu primeiro CD intitulado “EN NOMBRE DEL SURF Y DE LA LUCHA DEL ESPÍRITO SANTO... ¡AMÉN!”.

Hut Ab geht in die 3. Runde
Lieber Freund und Besucher unseres Kleinkunstwohnzimmers,
das war nun auch die 2. Runde der Veranstaltung “Hut Ab“. Das gemütliche Ambiente lud ein weiteres mal zum verweilen, zuhören und genießen ein. Annika Hein und Band überraschte das Publikum mit einer vielseitigen multiinstrumentalen Performance. Mit leisen Tönen verzückte uns Dana Shanti und ließ uns den lauten Alltag vergessen. Last but not least, Sid der Liedermacher zauberte mit gesungem Wort und Witz allen ein Lächeln ins Gesicht. Nicht zu vergessen die Leckerein von unserem buchhaltenden Chefkoch Rudi. Es war wieder ein schöner runder Abend. Wie immer gilt ein ganz besonderer Dank an die Künstler und die vielen fleißigen Helfer.
Hoffentlich bis zum 06.11.09, wenn es wieder heißt „Hut Ab“ im ORWOhaus.
