I Los Pirates nascono a Bergamo nell’autunno del 2001; il genere che la band propone è un diretto ed essenziale heavy metal che prende ispirazione dalla corrente inglese NWOBHM.
Nel 2003 i Pirati registrano un CD demo che porta il gruppo ad esibirsi in numerosi concerti e ad ottenere una discreta fama locale. L’esplosivo heavy metal proposto dal quintetto bergamasco da vita a coinvolgenti esibizioni live che catturano la simpatia di una cerchia di fan scalmanati che fonderanno l’euforica Ciurma del galeone.
Nel corso del tempo i Los Pirates sentono l’esigenza di raffinare la propria proposta musicale che, pur restando nei ruvidi territori dell’heavy metal, cerca influenze nel progressive rock.
Nel 2009 i Pirati tornano in studio con l’attuale formazione, per dare vita al primo full lenght dal titolo “Heavy Piracy” che trasuda sonorità legate a tutto quello che la band ascolta e apprezza. Il filo conduttore del CD resta, come nel Demo, il racconto di vicende piratesche e della vita a bordo del galeone.
Una nuova ondata di concerti adrenalinici promuoverà l’album e porterà i Los Pirates a navigare su nuove rotte all’insegna dell’heavy metal e di devastanti baccanali…
Questa è più o meno la storia del gruppo il resto lo scriverà colui che ci darà supporto…ogni pirata è un protagonista e partecipa alla fama del proprio galeone!

Los Pirates were born in Bergamo, Italy, in the fall of 2001; the band plays an essential heavy metal that takes inspiration from the NWOBHM.
In 2003 the Pirates records a demo cd that opens them the doors for a lot of live shows. This helped them spreading their name and gain some local fan-base: their fans founded indeed "the euphoric galleon crew"
In the following years Los Pirates refined their musical style and, always sticking to the heavy metal, they tried to mix progressive rock and stoner influences into their music.
With the current lineup the pirates entered recording studios again in 2009 to give birth to their first full lenght “Heavy Piracy”.
The sound of new album take inspiration from the big of heavy music like Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Saxon, Rainbow, Candlemass and Black Sabbath, but also from Italian progressive rock from the ‘70s (Biglietto per l’inferno, Goblin, Banco del Mutuo Soccorso).
A new wave of live shows is planned to support the new album release and the galleon will weigh anchors for Heavy Metal…
This is, summing up, the band's story, the rest is up to those who will be supporting Los Pirates music... each pirate can join the crew and play and important role in the Galleon sailing.
