The Subterraneans perform international and intergalactic superhero music.
Although we come from the underground our sound is one of uplift. Among other things, our sound references Puerto Rican hip hop and rap, Macedonian brass, samba, Dixieland jazz, and afro-Cuban klezmer. Expect thick booty shakin' grooves from the rhythm section, lush horns, and words to live by from our super MC’s Mr. Figueroa & MC atmosphMira.
