The statue/Anubis (?) and the ankh (Paul's necklace)... interesting that the exit point for the island escapees is in the same latitude and on same continent as Egypt-- and the have been numerous uses of hieroglyphics on the island (the counter in the hatch when it hadn't been rest and in the catacombs)... no?
This crazy idea just hit me: I think they're trapped back in time! Okay, I'm assuming that when Locke fixed that wheel thing, that it made the island stop skipping around in time, thus leaving the "losties" wherever they were in time. What do you think?
