A few years ago, I reheard something I saw originally on the Red Skelton TV Show. Red Skelton tells what his principsl said in explaining the meaning of The Pledge of Allegiance. I thought then as I do now, it is well worth sharing.

MusicClassic and modern country, oldies and Classic Rock, Jazz, Classical, Zydeco, Operettas, Broadway from Showboat to the present.

To hear my "signature" song, "Smoke, Smoke, Smoke (That Cigarette)",recorded Jun 18, 2003, Just play song #1 on my "jukebox" below.

Use the player's scroll to see and/or play the Country songs on my LoudFusion player. I am rebuilding the country selections. More will be added whenever I am able to.

About me:

Above are the ribbons I have been issued and am authorized to wear. On the extreme left (You see these ribbons as if you were looking at the uniform because it is worn above the right breast pocket of the old Army Class A's or dress uniform) is the Republic Of Viet Nam Gallantry Cross Unit Citation. On the right from top left to bottom right are Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Viet Nam Service Medal with 3 bronze campaign stars, Korean Defense Service Medal and the Viet Nam Campaign Medal, which are worn above the left breast pocket.

I am into Karaoke, enjoy most music, although I do not like most rap. I do not like the negativity and the language of it. Not that I'm a prude, I just don't think I should be inundated with it. My two favorite holidays are Christmas, even though it is too commercialized, to say the least, and Halloween. I have always been a classic horror movie fan. I also really enjoy the 4th of July because of it's historical significance and the fireworks. Being so far from family, Thanksgiving is not as great as it used to be, but because of friends here, it is still enjoyable. The other holidays are ok, I don't get bummed out during them. I just enjoy the above-mentioned holidays more. For many years I was active in amateur, school and college drama. I acted, as well as learning and working the technical end, set construction and design, lighting, sound. I designed and built the stage that at last check, was still being used for the Utah Midsummer Renaissance Faire in Cedar City, UT. Now primarily doing the backstage things. I received an Associates Degree from the College Of Eastern Utah in Price, UT. I served in the US Army for 8 1/2 years with the primary MOS (or job) of 71R20 - Broadcast Specialist, DJ'ing in Korea, Viet Nam and Germany. I was in Viet Nam during the '68 Tet Offensive. I received the National Defense Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Viet Nam Service Medal with 3 bronze campaign stars, Korean Defense Service Medal and the Viet Nam Campaign Medal with the 1960 - device, and the Republic Of Viet Nam Gallantry Cross Unit Citation. I was honorably discharged July 31, 1972. I have also been a radio announcer in California, Utah, Nashville, Tennessee and Washington, DC, and have volunteered time with a local Public Radio Station.

I currently reside in Everett, WA, even though I am a native Texan, born in San Antonio. I was a military brat, and have lived in 10 states, and have been in every state except Alaska and Maine. My proudest achievement was 3 great sons, with their mother, Marie. Fred, the eldest was my 1st wife's son by another marriage, my son by his and my choice. His brothers, John III and Curtis by our union. Fred passed away at the age of 32, after serving in the US Navy for 8 1/2 years and working for Hewlett-Packard. John and his brother, Curtis each have lovely families.

Fabulous Fannie has a new job.......

Hi there, in case you missed the bulletin I thought I would drop by. I have decided to make Tiffkas music page a little more fun by using a cartoon character for the hostess and she is a lot of fun..the page I decided was rather boring sooo if you are ready, meet the one and only Fabulous Fannie a bit of an egomaniac I would say but it’s all in fun.

MY HEART IS HEAVY AND TEARS FALL OVER THE TRAGIC EVENTS THAT HAPPENED AT FT.HOOD TODAY.11 OF OUR SOILDERS WENT HOME TODAY AND IM SURE GOD GAVE THEM THE HEROES WELCOME THAT THEY DESERVED.PLEASE PRAY FOR THE WOUNDED AND THEIR FAMILES.PRAY FOR OUR SOILDERS EVERYWHERE.IF YOU MEET A SOILDER SHAKE HIS HAND AND SAY THANK YOU..IF YOU KNOW OF A SOILDER RETURNING WELCOME HIM HOME.REACH OUT TO A DEPLOYED SOILDERS FAMILY AND HELP THEM IN ANY WAY YOU CAN.WRITE A LETTER,SEND AN EMAILE.YOU DONT KNOW HOW MUCH THOSE SIMPLE THINGS WOULD MEAN.
Just a Simple Soldier
He was getting old and paunchy
And his hair was falling fast,
And he sat around the Legion,
Telling stories of the past.
Of a war that he once fought in
And the deeds that he had done,
In his exploits with his buddies;
They were heroes, every one.
And 'tho sometimes to his neighbors
His tales became a joke,
All his buddies listened quietly
For they knew where of he spoke.
But we'll hear his tales no longer,
For ol' Bob has passed away,
And the world's a little poorer
For a Soldier died today.
He won't be mourned by many,
Just his children and his wife.
For he lived an ordinary,
Very quiet sort of life.
He held a job and raised a family,
Going quietly on his way;
And the world won't note his passing,
'Tho a Soldier died today.
When politicians leave this earth,
Their bodies lie in state,
While thousands note their passing,
And proclaim that they were great.
Papers tell of their life stories
From the time that they were young
But the passing of a Soldier
Goes unnoticed, and unsung.
Is the greatest contribution
To the welfare of our land,
Some jerk who breaks his promise
And cons his fellow man?
Or the ordinary fellow
Who in times of war and strife,
Goes off to serve his country
And of
The Ole West Is The Best

Thought I would drop by and wish you a happy weekend and to let you know....

I have changed the artist on my page early because it is the anniversary of the death of Bing Crosby the most popular entertainer of his time.

I call this new page "Bing and Friends" as I do believer he sang and or acted with more entertainers than anyone else of his time.

There is a wide selection of Videos to watch that I am sure you will enjoy.

To Bing I say "Thanks for the Memories"

Pass This on Please inSupport of Our Trrops                                                                           As Long As They Survive
We Must Honour All Our Brave Troops
Who Serve So Far Away
The Hero's Fighting In Iraq
To Keep Terrorist's At Bay

They Make The World A Safer Place For People Everywhere
So That We Can All Walk Tall And Taste The Freedom Air
Our Soldier's In The War Zone Make Us Feel So Proud
Let's Honour Every One Of Them And Sing Their Praises Loud

We Ask God To Bless Them And Bring Them Back Alive
To Reunite Them With Loved Ones It's Important They Survive
But What About The Hero's So Many That Have Died
The Honoured Ground Of Arlington Is Now Where They Reside

That Peaceful Place In Washington Where Stand The Graceful Trees
And Flowers That Grow For Miles Around Sway Gently In The Breeze
For Those Who Are Still Serving In That War Zone Overseas
Let's Pray To Keep Them Safe From Harm And Bring Them Home Soon Please
