Lost Boys plays real rock from the 60's, 70's, and 80's (and a 90's or two). We don't play country. We don't know any Polkas.
We play the greatest rock hits of all-time by the greatest bands of all-time:
Aerosmith, Beatles, Clapton, Hendrix, Mellancamp, The Stones, Tom Petty, Skynyrd, Stevie Ray, ZZ Top, and more. Lost Boys is like your favorite classic rock radio station - only Louder!
Yeah we're just a cover band, but we aim to play these songs like the real artists did. To NAIL them every time. We started with a list of 150 Billboard top ten (or better) rock hits and over the years, we threw out any song that people didn't dance to. Well known for our monster last set that can be as long as 25 songs, we're about the hardest workin' band you'll ever see. Most nights we play more than 50 (great) songs and never let up till they turn the lights on!
The band came about because of Mark's mid-life crisis. He didn't want a girlfriend (has wife, loves her) and couldn't afford a flashy red sports car - so he started a rock band.
Mark had been jamming with Greg for 10-12 years, and asked him to be in it. Greg would only do it if Mark found "a GREAT singer", which he did when he met Earl.
The first drummer quit after 1 practice, and Earl met Larry at a party the next weekend - Boom - Rock Band!
We Recorded our CD at Easy Street Studio in 2006.
